something new: two fic tuesdays

Okay folks, I'm switching up how I do things around here. Instead of a newsletter once a month (which is clearly not working well for me) I want to switch to a weekly model, which might seem counterintuitive but hold on.

I have a whole bunch of stories saved that I want to share, and I think the best way to do this will be to post two pieces each week. I'm doing it on Tuesdays because it gives me alteration, but there might also be occasion three or four fic days too, depending on how I feel.

I'm doing it this way because I'll be able to both have a simple template I can work with, and I won't feel obligated to have peersonal updates to go with them. The main focus will be the stories, and any updates I have will be extra things I mention in either in the post itself, or if I have something special, in its own post. You still also might get some microfiction as well, just because I enjoy sharing those and I have a lot in my backlog, but I'm not going to promise those either. They'll just be a nice surprise now and then.

So, now that I've got all that out of the way, here's your first set of stories!

You Have Been Murdered - Andrew Kozma
Oh this was short and sharp and I loved it. Visceral and sad and made me feel a little knotted up in how it was done. I loved it quite a lot and am glad I got the chance to read this reprint.

Earl Grey - Jae Steinbacher
I'm making my way through Baffling's backlog, so expect a numberr of stories coming up from there. This one stood out because while I'm not sure I'd say what my brain does is synesthesia, but it's ...something, and this felt close to that. I have immediate associations that hit with people and things and that will grow and develop as things continue. This was like that. It felt close to what I experience and good, and even though the end doesn't ring for me personally, it feels so perfect for this story

And that's all for now! I'll see you all next Tuesday.

Take care of yourslves and each ohterer as besttt you can.
