Two Fic Tuesday

Welcome!

This week I come with a couple of flash pieces. Really, I think it's my favorite length of story, even if I know full well there are wonderful stories of every length. There's something about flash that I absolutely adore both reading and writing.

Both these stories made me smile by the time I finished reading them. I hope they give you the same experience.

Recs

In the City of the Faced - Daniel Ausema - Factor Four
This was strange and so lovely. The feeling of uncertainty and fear that turns to acceptance and hope made me feel better when I finished and was such a bright spot in my reading day.

The Fox’s Cartographer - Devin Miller - Small Wonders
This story made me feel so warm, and happy, and like it was made for me. I love circus settings, and stories about having the chance to become something you've always longed for. I loved this so much, and it's gone into a folder of things I can go back to when I'm feeling low because it brought me so much joy.

Be well, take care, and I hope you read something lovely this week.
