Two Fic Tuesday for Sept 8th
Hi, hello and welcome!
This week I come to you with a dark grab bag of stories. I didn't know when I would get a chance to shout about these, so today is the day. Both of these were just the sorts of things I love, though in very different ways, and I hope you enjoy them as well.

The Tongues of Ghosts - Abigail Kemske - foofaraw
This hit me square in the chest. I've never suffered from this kind of eating disorder, but I know people who have, and I have my own struggles with food as well. This was so haunting (no pun intended) and real in how it felt. I appreciated the ending in this one too; it was the most honest version of how this goes, at least for me, and I was glad to see that.

So I have a bunch of found-footage/epistolary style stories pulled up to read and this is the one I started with. Which, in my opinion, was an excellent choice. I loved this so much. The use of the form was great, the story itself was creepy and unsettling, and I just had a great (slightly squirmy) time with it.
