Two Fic Tuesday for April 21st

Hi, hello and welcome!

This week I'm having fun with themes again. Instead of picking a single author, I chose someone who's both an author and a narrator. Jordan Kurella creates some wonderfully weird fiction, and I've truly found myself loving his work. The Death Of Mountains has been getting a lot of attention, but I highly suggest you go look into all of his work, it's well worth it.

But since Jordan also narrates, I thought I would take this chance to show off that too, as well as another strange story to go with it.

Recs

Unsettled Nature - Jordan Kurella - Apex
Okay look, I read this, then read it again because of how much I enjoyed it. The voice is fantastic, and the story is weird, delightful, and something I had a really good time with. I'm pretty sure not everyone is going to jive with this one, but I truly did and I'm glad to shove more people toward it.

The Polyamorous Heart of Death - M. Lopes Da Silva - Pseudopod
I read this story and loved it even before I was done. This is strange and unsettling and fucked up, and I adored every moment of it. It's beautiful and thoughtful, but in such a sharp, challenging way. Very much a fan of both this story, and the narration, which I thought really brought this whole thing to life.

I wish all of you many good stories,
