V. Astor Solomon is a queer, blind, neurodivergent, mixed-race author living in the US. They adore all kinds of oddities and strangeness, both in the things they create and what they enjoy. This shows in stories they choose to tell, often playing with point of view, as well as who exactly you’re following within the story itself. Their habit of personifying things such as a river, or a city, are things they’ve been doing their entire life.

Besides being claimed by one cat and claiming candles, craft supplies and too much coffee, they have the habit of picking up new hobbies and fixations on a whim. These things have previously included horror media, perfume oils,, and several methods of divination.

Their time is spent finding small things to add to their curio set, attempting to learn new and interesting crafts such as ceramics and zine-making, and often listening to more podcasts and audiobooks than is probably sensible.
